This week’s Farmer Focus is on senior Eddymar Cornadas-Rodriguez, a devoted representative of Student Council who gives us some insight into what she’s like and what she plans for the future.

Q: What’s your outlook for the future?

A: “I plan on going to medical school and becoming a doctor.”

Q: What do you expect to do after college?

A: “To be a doctor and be successful; have a Mercedes-Benz.”

Q: What made you want to become that?

A: “I wanted to become a doctor, a pediatric endocrinologist. I just want to help [kids] out.”

Q: What made you join STUCO?

A: “It looks good on a college application, and there’s a lot of opportunity to go out and I really like that.”

Q: What do you do in STUCO?

A: “I mentor and help the kids. I go to Spanish classes and it’s cool to work with Hispanic kids, kind of like you, something you can relate to them.”

Q: What is your favorite part of STUCO?

A: “It’d have to be the mentoring; just working with the kids.”

Q: What is the weirdest thing that’s happened to you at work?

A: I was working at Chuck E. Cheese for this party and I forgot to get this lady her pizza, and I thought she was going to come at me all mad, but she just started talking about how her cousin wanted to get with me, and he was like old. She just kept going and my manager wouldn’t switch and I was stuck with that party for the whole night!”
