What would be your strength if you were in the Hunger Games?

Probably running and hiding, [because] I can’t shoot arrows, I can’t kill anybody, so I’ll just hide.

— Junior Jharin Hemphill

What are you most looking forward to about the new Hunger Games movie?

Pullquote Photo

The ending. They’re making Mockingjay into two parts, so I want to see how they divide it and how much suspense they are going to add.

— Junior Allyson Gunderson

I’m really excited to see how it ends because I’m kind of bad, because I don’t read the books, so I don’t know what to expect.

— Junior Harmoni Hampton

What do you like about the Hunger Games?

I like that it shows a strong character. She was put in a very testing situation and she prevailed, despite all the odds.

— Junior Lauren Wilbur

I like how the characters are well rounded and have their own personal meaning to the story. And they each play an important role no matter how small their role is.

— Senior Hayden Sackett

What character do you relate most to and why?

Katniss because she is so determined to getting her things done, and I am a senior so I’m really determined to go to college and get everything done.

— Senior Robert Arellano
