With track season underway, the Fighting Farmer track team has found themselves in the midst of the coveted district meet. The track team has a smaller amount of members this year than in the years past, but has found some success.

Senior hurdler Carl McGhee said that one of the team’s biggest strengths is the relay teams.

“Our relay teams are really strong this year,” McGhee said. “They’ve done very well with improving week after week and staying on top.”

The Farmer track team competes again today at the district meet at Marcus High school. Make sure to go support!

Senior Signings

The girls’ soccer season has come to close this in a more than positive way. The girls got a district win against Plano East before closing up their season at senior night.

Seniors Karol Rodriguez and Brianna Reyes signed their letters of intent on Mar. 24 to play soccer for Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch.

Brookhaven head girls’ soccer coach Nasko Arsov said that he is very excited for Karol and Brianna to join his team.

“Both of them are really good students and nice people with great personalities,” Arsov said. “They are going to fit in very easily.”
