Into the Music

Q: How did  you get into music?

A: “Myspace.”

Q: What type of artist do you look up to?

A: “Kid Cudi, Kanye West and Pink Floyd. There isn’t a specific reason why; I just like their music.”

Q: Who do you see yourself working with in the future?

A: “Travis Scott.”

Q: What type of music are you into making/listening to?

A: “I like making hip-hip/rap, but I also listen to heavy metal and R&B. I listen to heavy metal because it’s deep and dark. It gives you an adrenaline rush.”

Q: Is it hard to produce a song?

A:Yes, it’s really hard. You got to open up a software on your laptop. It is just analyzing the drum patterns and the music, and just using your creative mind to come up with a song.”

Q: What artists have influenced you?

A: “I’ve gotten inspiration from music as a whole. Since I listen to so much music, I don’t limit myself to one genre.”

Q: Will you continue to do this forever or quit after high school?

A: “I’m ‘the youth.’ I’m like the definition of ‘the youth,’ so I’m not going to do this forever. I’m probably going to go on with this til I’m 30, because no one wants to hear some old person making beats.”

Q: Why music?

A: “Because music is never going to die.”

Q: How did you become a  producer?

A:I just felt that in this generation there’s not enough creativity with everybody, so I thought I should show everybody what creativity is. I want to be the new definition of creativity and originality.”
