The film “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” was released on Friday, Feb. 22 and contains the most heartfelt ending of the franchise. As it’s the final film of  “How to Train Your Dragon” series, the unanswered questions of the first and second “How to Train Your Dragon” movies are revealed.

The movie starts off with Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) creating a utopia for both dragons and vikings to live together in peace; he has achieved this with the help of his friends and the dragons they have raised and loved after the first movie. Hiccup has to learn to be the new leader for his town: the Berk.

Ever since the first “How to Train Your Dragon” was released on March 26, 2010, viewers have come to love the friendship and partnership of Hiccup and Toothless. Their inseparable bond has taught children all over that having a best friend is the best gift of all. In the film both Toothless and Hiccup have to make difficult decisions and one of them is having to separate for good.

Learning to move on and grow as an individual is the lesson this movie provides to viewers of all ages. Hiccup is the one who learns this lesson more than anyone else in this production. Hiccup believes that without Toothless by his side, he would not have ever achieved anything. His girlfriend Astrid (voiced by America Ferrera) tells him otherwise, but he doesn’t believe her either he only looks at strength alone and doesn’t see what he contributes in. This movie teaches Hiccup to start acting more as a solo player than a partner to Toothless to prepare them for their roles in their own world’s.

This film captivates the hearts of the viewers during the most hilarious time in the film where Toothless uses dance moves to make the new dragon, Light Fury, notice him. Light Fury is the one who introduces the hidden world of dragons to Toothless and Hiccup, while not liking the human races she still alerts them of dangers soon to arrive in Berk.

The new villain who has been mentioned in the previous films has finally revealed himself as Grimmel (voiced by F. Murray Abraham) the dragon hunter, he has been renowned in this world as the most fearsome dragon hunter in the films. He was the one who made the Fury’s population dwindle by hunting them down. He is the one who aims a deadly attack to Berk. Even if he is villain he is the only one that give Hiccup an amazing illustrated animation battle with intense sound effects.

“How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” is an amazing illustrated animation that has made audiences cry and laugh with the crazy and heartbreaking moments of the film. This movie has surpassed the last two movies of “How to Train Your Dragon” with giving the viewers the ending they were hoping for. As a lovable movie to see with the family this movie earns a 4 out of 5 stars.
