The boys and girls basketball teams will be holding their first Midnight Madness event to kick off to the season at the new arena tonight from 10:30 p.m. [after the Axe game] to 12:30 a.m.
Free throw contests, a 3-point shootout, boys and girls warm-ups, and a student vs. faculty game are just some of activities scheduled. Those in attendance shouldn’t expect to spend the whole evening in their seats.
“The audience gets to be involved,” sophomore and junior varsity player Jordyn Hughes said.
Admission is $2, $1 if students wear their Rowdy Crowd shirts. Concession stands will also be operating.
