Farmer Basketball kicks off its 2012-2013 season, beginning with the hallmark Midnight Madness – annual event to unveil this year’s all-star teams. Event will be held on Friday, October 26th at 10:30PM in the LHS Arena right after the Denton Ryan home football game.

Originating from the college basketball tradition, the Midnight Madness is the unofficial kickoff of the basketball season.

“It’s a fun event available to anybody,” head coach Gary Collier said. “We want to spread the hype  as we enter our new season.”

Both boys and girls basketball teams will be there to show everyone what they’re made of.

For 3$ (adult) or 2$ (student), attendees can  enjoy good food and live entertainment by the Cheerleaders, Farmerettes, LHS Drumline, both varsity basketball teams, and even a student-versus-teacher basketball game.  Guests may even choose to participate in free throw competitions – some of which will walk away with neat prizes
